Length of Assignment

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, design and implementation of a customer journey and mobile experience
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the experience based on mobile technology and in support of personas based on client’s target market
  • Create process maps based on personas and functional goals
  • Create mockups or prototypes (not build) for the mobile experience as it relates to digitization and new ideas
  • Assess usability around UI/UX
  • Define business and technical requirements and architectural solution for the new customer journey that considers enterprise technology strategies
  • Work with stakeholders to evaluate solution alternatives and how to best implement balancing business, technology, financial and time constraints
  • Serve as the main point of contact from a technical and functional mobile solution perspective
  • Establish a rapport with team members, stakeholders and interface groups utilizing a variety of techniques from initiation to close of the project
  • Facilitate meetings for reviewing technical architecture, decision making and problem solving
  • Engage with multiple teams, including business, data, security, infrastructure and delivery to ensure all aspects of the solution architecture are captured, defined and communicated clearly in a timely manner
  • Determine and build KPIs and metrics for success

Key Qualifications

  • Masters in Information Systems, Computer Science or Business with a strong technical background 1-2 years of relevant experience which may include co-ops, internships, work study and project work
  • Experience in mobile design, prototypes with proof of concepts using leading edge technologies and frameworks
  • Willing to work in Agile and iterative development methodologies
  • Ability to guide team in planning, designing and execution of the mobile elements of this project
  • Built single-page web applications that perform well in modern, mobile, and legacy browsers (responsive UI)
  • Excellent understanding of iOS and Android native development as well as hybrid App development using a combination of technologies that include Angular JS, HTML5, Java, J2EE, CSS3
  • Grasp of cross-browser JS and CSS complexities
  • Keen eye for usability and user experience
  • Be responsible for the creation and implementation of the solution
  • Inquisitive – not afraid to network within the organization to ask relevant questions
  • Ability to know when to ask for help and resourceful in getting support
  • Excellent communicator (verbal, written, & presentation skills)
  • Team builder and facilitator of cross team discussions with proven ability to identify and remove roadblocks and resolve issues
  • High emotional intelligence and tact
  • Keen organizational, prioritization, time management and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Suite skills proficiency
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
